2025-2026 ACADEMIC YEAR ORHUN EXCHANGE PROGRAM APPLICATION ANNOUNCEMENT

Our undergraduate students and our University Faculty Members who want to study for one semester in the announced departments of the Turkish University Association (Orhun Exchange Program) member Universities listed below for the Fall and Spring Semesters of the 2025-2026 Academic Year are required to fill out the application documents specified in the announcement on a computer and upload them to the system by the end of working hours (17:00) on April 24, 2025.

Announcement Schedule:

Receipt of Applications:  April 11 – April 24, 2025

Evaluation of Applications:  April 28 – May 12, 2025

Announcement of Results: May 15, 2025

*Only academic staff with faculty member status can apply to the program.

Things to Know About the Application:

• Only one semester and one university preference can be made in the applications.

• All documents must be filled in on the computer. Handwritten forms will not be evaluated.

• You can access the forms by clicking on the links of the relevant forms.

• The travel expenses (round-trip economy class flight ticket) of the candidate students who applied and were selected as the main student will be covered by our university, and the subsistence expenses (dormitory and food) will be covered by the university they prefer. The visa fee of the country of destination, transfer to the airport and similar expenses are the responsibility of the student.

• The travel expenses of our candidate faculty members who apply and are selected as full-time faculty members (round-trip economy class flight ticket) will be covered by our university, and the subsistence expenses (accommodation and meals) will be covered by the university they prefer. The visa fee for the country of destination, transfer to the airport and similar expenses are the responsibility of the faculty members.

Application Criteria:

For Students:

•Students who will apply must be full-time students enrolled in our University's undergraduate formal education program.

•Our students must have a general academic grade point average of at least two and a half out of four (2.5/4.00) for application.

•Preparatory class, first-year and senior students cannot benefit from the exchange program.

• Since students who will be in their second and third year at the beginning of the Fall Semester of the (2025-2026) Academic Year can benefit from the exchange; students who are in their first and second year on the announcement date can apply).

•Students studying in another country as international students can apply for the exchange program as long as it is a country other than their own.

For Academicians:

•Applications of Academicians working in our University Departments will be evaluated.

•Those who have not previously benefited from the Orhun exchange program as academicians will be given priority.

•In order for academicians to fill out their application documents, they must contact the relevant department at the university they want to go to and determine the suggested courses.

Mobility Duration:

For students; 1 (one) semester

(2025-2026 Academic Year Spring Semester or Fall Semester can be preferred)

For academicians; at least 14 days

(2025-2026 Academic Year Spring Semester or Fall Semester and at least 6 hours of academic and scientific activity per week)
