2026-2027 ACADEMIC YEAR ORHUN EXCHANGE PROGRAM APPLICATION ANNOUNCEMENT
Our undergraduate students and our University Faculty Members who want to study for one semester in the announced departments of the Turkish University Association (Orhun Exchange Program) member Universities listed below for the Fall and Spring Semesters of the 2026-2027 Academic Year are required to fill out the application documents specified in the announcement on a computer and upload them to the system by the end of working hours (17:00) on March 23, 2026.
Announcement Schedule:
Receipt of Applications: February 26 – March 23, 2026
Evaluation of Applications: March 25 – April 13, 2026
Announcement of Results: April 20, 2026

Important Information for Application:
• Only one semester and one university preference can be made in applications.
• Application forms can only be uploaded to the system in PDF format.
• All documents must be completed electronically. Handwritten forms will not be considered.
• You can access the forms by clicking on the links.
• Travel expenses (round-trip economy class airfare) for applicants selected as primary candidates will be covered by our university, while accommodation and meals will be covered by the university they have chosen. Visa fees, tuition fees, airport transfers, and similar expenses for the destination country are the responsibility of the student.
• Travel expenses (round-trip economy class airfare) for prospective faculty members who apply and are selected will be covered by our university, while subsistence expenses (accommodation and meals) will be covered by the host university. Visa fees, stamp duties, airport transfers, and similar expenses for the host university are the responsibility of the faculty members.
• The signature sections for the host university on the faculty mobility program application form can be left blank. These sections can be filled in later.
• In the application, the signature sections for the host university and AÇÜ Coordinator on the Faculty Mobility Program form can be left blank. These sections can be filled after the host university's acceptance.
Application Criteria:
For Students:
• Applicants must be full-time students enrolled in our university's undergraduate program.
• Students must have a minimum overall academic GPA of 2.5 out of 4.00 (2.5/4.00) to apply.
• Preparatory class, first-year, and final-year students cannot participate in the exchange program.
• Students who will be in their second and third years at the beginning of the Fall Semester of the 2026-2027 Academic Year will be eligible to participate in the exchange program. • Students in their first or second year at the time of the announcement can apply.
• International students studying in another country can apply for the exchange program, provided it is to a country other than their own.
For Faculty Members:
• Applications from faculty members working in our university departments will be considered.
• Priority will be given to those who have not previously benefited from the Orhun exchange program as faculty members.
• Faculty members must contact the relevant department at the university they wish to attend to determine the recommended courses in order to complete their application documents.
Mobility Period:
For students; 1 (one) semester
(2026-2027 Academic Year Spring Semester or Fall Semester can be chosen)
For faculty members; At least 14 days
(Academic and scientific activity, provided it takes place in the Spring or Fall Semester of the 2026-2027 Academic Year and includes at least 6 class hours per week)
